It might be helpful to address the lift issues, as several guests experienced frustrating delays!!! Noise levels from nearby bars really disrupted sleep, especially for those on higher floors!!!

fantastic access to the beach and charming old town

My stay was truly delightful, with the hotel just a few steps from the beach and a lovely view of the nearby park, making it perfect for leisurely strolls to explore the charming old town and various cafes scattered around. I also appreciated the fantastic breakfast that offered a wonderful selection to start the day right.

i had a lovely 5-night stay at albert 1er. the location is perfect, just off the main boulevard and near the sea. the superior double room with a garden view was clean and well-equipped. the breakfast was delicious and worth the extra charge, and the hotel crew were genuinely friendly. i appreciated the complimentary water and the good air conditioning.

Had a great time with friends at this charming hotel. It's in a fantastic location, just a stone's throw from the Promenade des Anglais and the beautiful Mediterranean. We enjoyed daily walks to the nearby Place Masséna. The hotel's décor is delightful, and the breakfast was fantastic. Staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The only downside was the lift situation. we often waited a while for it, which could be annoying at times.

While the room size is compact, the lack of noise insulation became a significant issue, making it hard to catch some quality z's at night. The air conditioning wasn't operational yet, resulting in stuffiness on warmer nights, exacerbated by the option to open the window—only if you can tolerate the street noise. Additionally, the TV was a letdown. limited channels in French made it frustrating when all you want is to kick back and catch up on the news or a series. Lastly, expect to lose patience with the slow elevator, particularly if you're on an upper floor with luggage in tow.
